1. Who we are

NamasteRupee (namasterupee.com) is a loan guidance and referral platform for personal loans and gold loans in India. We are not a bank or an NBFC and we do not lend money ourselves. We help you understand your options and, with your consent, connect you with banks and NBFCs that may be able to offer you a loan.

2. Information we collect

We collect only the information you choose to give us:

• Enquiry and application forms: your name, mobile number, email address and city; the type of loan and the amount you need; your employment type and monthly income for a personal loan; the weight and purity of your gold for a gold loan; and anything you write in the additional information box.
• When you contact us: the details you share by phone, email or WhatsApp while we help you with your enquiry.
• Language preference: if you switch the site language, that choice is saved in your own browser so the site opens in the same language next time.

3. How we use your information

• To call, message or email you about the loan enquiry you submitted.
• To understand your requirement and explain which loan options may suit you.
• To pass your enquiry, with your consent, to a bank or NBFC that can assess your application.
• To answer your questions and handle complaints.
• To meet legal or regulatory requirements that apply to us.

4. Who we share it with

• Lending partners: banks and NBFCs relevant to your enquiry, so they can assess and process your loan application. The lender makes the final decision on approval, amount and interest rate, and handles your information under its own privacy policy.
• Service providers: companies that run parts of this website for us. Our forms are processed by Formspree, the site is hosted by Hostinger, and fonts are loaded from Google Fonts. Some of these providers process data on servers outside India.
• WhatsApp: if you choose to chat with us on WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp under its own terms.
• Authorities: where the law requires us to disclose information.

We do not sell your personal information.

5. Your consent

By submitting a form on this website you agree to us using your information as described in this policy, including contacting you by phone, SMS, WhatsApp or email about your enquiry. You can withdraw your consent at any time by writing to contact@namasterupee.com. Withdrawing consent does not affect anything already done before the withdrawal, and we may not be able to continue helping with your enquiry afterwards.

6. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as it is needed to handle your enquiry and to meet legal requirements. You can ask us to delete it sooner, and we will do so unless the law requires us to keep it.

7. How we protect it

This website is served over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, and access to enquiry details is limited to the people who need them to help you. No method of sending or storing information online is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask us to:

• tell you what personal information we hold about you and how it has been used;
• correct or update information that is wrong or incomplete;
• erase your information;
• stop using it, by withdrawing your consent;
• record a person you nominate to exercise these rights on your behalf.

9. Cookies and tracking

This website does not use advertising or analytics trackers. The only thing stored in your browser is your language preference, described above.

10. Children

This website is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Our pages link to other websites, such as the Reserve Bank of India and lenders. We are not responsible for how those websites handle your information.

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when it was last changed.
